John Hsu is a labor, environmental and human rights activist who works as a software engineer as his day job. He has lived most of his whole life in the 6th congressional district of New Jersey. After serving as one of the main leaders of the Bernie Sanders 2020 New Jersey campaign, he continued organizing in numerous campaigns including the community effort to help Robert Wood Johnson nurses who were on strike for safe staffing levels, the effort to stop a proposed Woodbridge power plant and the effort to have a ceasefire in Gaza.
John is principled, persistent and thoughtful. He will fight for the good of regular people over corporate greed. He will speak up for what is right even when the circumstances are difficult. He will rely on people power to push our agenda forward.
