We need Medicare for All. A universial system is more difficult to defund. Every year, an estimated 530,000 US families go bankrupt at least partially because of medical bills. We always have money for bombs. It is time we use our resources to help people back home.

Electricity prices are rising as tech companies benefit from discounted energy costs for new AI data centers. Requiring them to pay their fair share will stabilize cost. We must limit private equity home ownership to help curb rising home prices. In 2020, 5.9% or 1 in 17 NJ residential properties were institutionally owned. 

Congress should not be allowed to trade stocks because they have insider information. They should not profit from war and legislation that hurts regular people. 

This can be done through congressional legislation to defund, dismantle or limit the agency’s ability to target individuals or families or restrict the use of certain tactics. ICE is not an old agency, it was created in 2003 after the passage of the 2002 Immigration and Customs Enforcement Act of 2002. We can pivot to a more humane immigrant policy. ICE has operated like a paramilitary organization, with near impunity, as we saw with the shooting of Renee Nicole Good. ICE has also been used to limit free speech such as against Mahmoud Khalil of Columbia University and Rümeysa Öztürk of Tufts University.

Trump violated the Constitution by accepting gifts from foreign states while in office and by taking unilateral military action without imminent threat. Under the Emoluments Clause and other legal grounds, impeachment is warranted.
