Furthermore, I will champion and co-sponsor H.R. 2530, The Nurse Staffing Standards for Hospital Patient Safety and Quality Care Act. This critical legislation mandates safe nurse-to-patient staffing ratios, which is fundamental to improving patient care quality and safety in hospitals. By ensuring that our nurses are not overwhelmed, we can provide a better work environment for healthcare professionals and significantly enhance patient outcomes.
